The Western Green lizard, Lacerta bilineata (Lacertidae) is a mainly European lizard found in  Andorra, Austria, Croatia, France, Germany, Italy, Monaco, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, and on Jersey in the British Isles. It has also been recorded in the United States [1].
This lizards are characterized by their lime green scales, and the often blue throat in males [2].
